Analytics

ProperlyGeek uses Google Analytics 4 to understand site visits and interactions. When the page's JavaScript runs, it loads Google's analytics tag and sends a page-view event. Page-view information includes the current page path, URL, and title; query parameters in the URL may be included. The site also records interactions with links marked for affiliate tracking, including a link's destination and placement on the page.

Google Analytics may use first-party cookies or similar identifiers to distinguish browsers and sessions, and may collect browser and device information and approximate location. See Google's description of Analytics data collection and Google's cookie documentation. Google operates this service and receives information through the tag. Its handling of that information is described in Google's Privacy Policy. ProperlyGeek does not control Google's services or retention practices.

The site does not currently provide a cookie banner or on-site consent preference tool.

Hosting and site requests

The hosting infrastructure may process basic request information and server logs to deliver pages, protect the service, and investigate technical issues. Hosting providers may process or retain those logs under their operational and security practices.

Email messages

If you email support@properlygeek.com, we receive the address and information you choose to include. We use it to read and respond to your message and handle related follow-up. Please do not send sensitive personal information that is not needed for your inquiry. Correspondence may be retained as needed to respond and keep appropriate business records.

External websites and updates

A link to a retailer or another external site takes you to a service with its own privacy practices. ProperlyGeek does not control those practices. This policy describes the site's current features and may be updated if they change. For a privacy question, email support@properlygeek.com.
